Calls on the Commission on Human Rights to support the recommendation of the Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues for a 2nd International Decade, to ensure that the elaboration of the draft Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples can proceed, to focus on the issue of "bio-prospecting" among indigenous peoples, and to urge all Member States to ratify ILO Convention 169.
