Summary
Calls upon the administering Power, the specialized agencies and other organizations of the UN system as well as regional and other organizations to continue to provide assistance to the Territory in alleviating the consequences of the volcanic eruption; takes note of the report of the Constitutional Review Commission and the consensus that, while Montserratians reserve the right to future self-determination, independence is not a priority given the present socio-economic status of the Territory.
