Security Council resolution 1521 (2003) [on dissolution of the Security Council Committee Established pursuant to Resolution 1343 (2001) concerning Liberia]

Decides to terminate prohibitions imposed by paragraphs 5, 6, 7 of resolution 1343 (2001) and paragraphs 17 and 28 of resolution 1478 (2003) and to dissolve the committee established under resolution 1343 (2001); decides that all States shall take necessary measures to prevent sale of supply to Liberia of arms; decides also that all States shall take necessary measures to prevent entry or transit through their territories of all individuals designated by the Committee who constitute a threat to peace process in Liberia; decides that all States shall take necessary measures to prevent direct or indirect import of all rough diamonds, all round logs and timber products from Liberia; decides that measures above are established for 12 months from the date of adoption of this resolution; decides to establish a Committee of the Security Council to monitor implementation of the measures imposed by this resolution.
