Work of the Centre for International Crime Prevention, including the management of the United Nations Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice Fund

Invites Member States to make appropriate voluntary contributions to the UN Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice Fund in order to strengthen the capacity of the Centre to provide technical assistance to requesting States; encourages Member States to continue to make contributions in direct support of activities and projects of the Centre, including through contributions to institutes of the UN Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice Programme network; stresses the importance of monitoring and evaluation of projects financed by the UN Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice Fund, and welcomes in that respect the recent decision to establish an independent evaluation function in the UN Office on Drugs and Crime; requests the Executive Director of the UN Office on Drugs and Crime to include in his annual report to the Commission on Crime Prevention and Ciminal Justice information on the financial status of the UN Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice Fund and the results of the evaluation of projects financed by the Fund.
