Summary
Reports that due to the prevailing situation in Liberia it was impossible to gather information needed to prepare the new report since the last report of 22 Apr. 2003 (S/2003/466); states that, in light of the ongoing deployment of the UN Mission in Liberia (UNMIL), and considering that the formation of the National Transitional Government of Liberia being in its early stages, it will be necessary to defer the report until early 2004 to allow UNMIL and the National Transitional Government to gather information and conduct assessment of the new circumstances on the ground for input into the report.
