Reports on the activities of the Personal Envoy of the Secretary-General for Western Sahara and the Identification Commission. Provides details on: military and civilian police aspects; prisoners of war, other detainees and unaccounted-for persons; and the Western Saharan refugees. Recommends that the mandate of the UN Mission for the Referendum in Western Sahara (MINURSO) be extended for 3 months, until 31 Jan. 2004. Includes a table showing contributions to MINURSO as at 13 Oct. 2003 and a map showing MINURSO deployment as of Oct. 2003. DAA
