ملخص
DAA Covers the period 1 July 2002-30 June 2003. Outlines the threats against the safety and security of the UN personnel over the past year as well as an update on the implementation of initiatives approved during the 56th session of the General Assembly. Includes sections on i) arrest, detention and other restrictions; ii) current security management system; iii) accountability; iv) minimum operating security standards; v) security training programmes; vi) stress management; and vii) security collaboration between the UN and non-governmental organizations. Included annexes are: i) civilian personnel who have lost their lives during the reporting period (1 July 2002-30 July 2003); and ii) consolidated list of staff members under arrest, detained or missing and with respect to whom the UN, the specialized agencies and related organizations have been unable to exercise fully their right to protection (as at 31 May 2003)
