Summary
DAA Describes the international cooperation activities of the UNDP and other organs, organizations and programmes of the UN carried out during the period Aug. 2001-Dec. 2002, in support of efforts of the Central American countries to implement a new sustainable development strategy in the region. Also states that there is, in particular, a need for firm support and monitoring of the fulfilment of the Peace Agreements in Guatemala, and the full consolidation of the peace process in Central America.
