Summary
Reiterates its firm support for the Somali National Reconciliation process; demands that the Somalia parties abide and implement the Eldoret Declaration; calls on the IGAD technical Committee to continue their active role in promoting the process; urges all parties involved to fully participate in the 6 reconciliation committees; expresses concern regarding the humanitarian situation in Somalia and urges the Somalia leaders to facilitate the delivery of humanitarian assistance; requests the Secretary-General to continue preparatory activities on the ground for post-conflict peace-building mission in Somalia once security condition permits; reiterates its commitment to assist the Somali parties and support the IGAD mediation.
