Focuses on the challenges that must be addressed if progress is to be made in the achievement of the goal of gender equality in relation to peace and security and includes recommendations for action which the Security Council may wish to consider in order to strengthen and accelerate implementation of the objectives and recommendations already contained in resolution 1325 (2000).
