Summary
Urges States to continue working together, also on a regional and bilateral basis, to prevent and combat acts of terrorism by strengthening international cooperation and technical assistance within the framework of the international conventions and protocols related to terrorism; requests the Centre for International Crime Prevention, within the framework of its technical assistance activities related to countering terrorism, to take measures to draw the relevant international conventions and protocols relating to various aspects of international terrorism to the attention of those States which are not yet parties to them, with a view to assisting them, upon request, to become parties thereto; requests the Secretary-General to offer, on a regular basis, to the Counter-Terrorism Committee information on the activities of the Centre for International Crime Prevention relevant to preventing and combating terrorism with the aim of strengthening a permanent dialogue between the 2 entities.
