Transmits statement of the same date by the President of the Russian Federation on issues related to combating terrorism; concerns situation in Pankisi Gorge, Georgia, where the alleged attacks by illegal armed units against the territory of the Russian Federation are taking place; states that if the Georgian leadership is unable to establish a security zone in the area of the Georgian-Russian border, the Russian Federation reserve the right to act in accordance with Article 51 of the Chapter of the UN, which lays down every Member State's right of individual or collective self-defence.
