Reports that Turkish armed forces has allegedly bombarded villages in the Kani Rash region, wounding 3 civilians and setting fire to crops, 23-24 June 2002; reports also that Turskish force allegedly penetrated into Iraqi national territory in the area between Batufah and Kani Masi, on the pretext of being in pursuit of the elements of the Kurdish Workers' Party; appeals to the Security Council to intervene with a view to halting and ensuring that there is no recurrence of these acts.
