International Conference on Financing for Development : resolution / adopted by the General Assembly

Endorses the Monterrey Consensus as adopted by the Conference on 22 Mar. 2002; stresses the importance of keeping fully engaged, ensuring proper follow-up to the implementation of agreements and commitments reached at the Conference, and continuing to build bridges between development, finance, and trade organizations and initiatives; requests the Secretary-General to include in his report to the General Assembly at its 57th session measures taken as well as his proposals for ensuring effective secretariat support, building on the innovative and participatory modalities and related coordination arrangements utilized in the preparations of the Conference.
