Concerns the alleged seizure of the town of Pweto by Rwandan and Rassemblement congolais pour la démocratie-Goma (RCD-Goma) forces, 29 June 2002; calls on the Security Council to condemn the seizure, to demand unconditional troop withdrawal from Pweto and demilitarization of the town of Kisangani, to demand fulfilment of obligations to cooperate with the UN Organization Mission in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (MONUC) and to consider transforming the mandate of MONUC into an intervention force.
