Financial reports and audited financial statements, and reports of the Board of Auditors : resolution / adopted by the General Assembly

Accepts the audited financial statements of the UN peacekeeping operations for the period 1 July 2000-30 June 2001; endorses the recommendations of the Board of Auditors contained in its report as well as the recommendations contained in the report of the Advisory Committee on Administrative and Budgetary Questions (A/56/887); requests the Secretary-General to ensure that internal control in peacekeeping operations is improved; also requests the Secretary-General to ensure the full implementation of the recommendations of the Board of Auditors and of the Advisory Committee in a promt and timely manner.
