Reports armed confrontations between the Rwandan Patriotic Army and the Rassemblement Congolais pour la Démocratie-Goma (RCD-Goma) on 14 May 2002 in Kisangani, Democratic Republic of the Congo, resulted in the deaths of more than 20 people, including a child; requests the Security Council to take all necessary measures to rectify the situation, including withdrawal of Rwandan troops, arms embargo, travel ban, economic sanctions against Rwanda and suspension of diplomatic relations between the States Members of the UN and Rwanda.
