Summary
Noting that the meeting of the 56th session of the General Assembly devoted to information and communication technologies will be held on 17-18 June 2002, decides to invite the President of the Economic and Social Council, the Chairman of the Information and Communication Technologies Task Force, the Chairman of the Digital Opportunities Task Force, and the Secretary-General of the International Telecommunication Union to make statements at the 1st plenary meeting of the Meeting of the General Assembly devoted to information and communication technologies.
