Summary
Welcomes the proposal of the Government of Mongolia to hold the 5th International Conference of New or Restored Democracies from 18-20 June 2003 in Ulaanbaatar; invites the Secretary-General, Member States, the relevant specialized agencies and bodies of the UN system, as well as other intergovernmental and non-governmental organizations, to support and collaborate in the holding of the 5th International Conference of New or Restored Democracies; encourages the intergovernmental follow-up mechanism to the Cotonou Conference to cooperate actively in the preparatory process for the 5th International Conference of New or Restored Democracies.
