Indigenous issues : written statement

Recommends that the Commission on Human Rights consider special measures to accelerate the pace of work on the draft Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples, and that the Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues be provided with sufficient funds to create an independent technical secretariat.
