Report of the Secretary-General on the activities of the Office of Internal Oversight Services : resolution / adopted by the General Assembly

Requests the Secretary-General to ensure that the Office of Internal Oversight Services includes in its annual reports information regarding the implementation rate of the recommendations of the previous 3 reporting periods; welcomes the initiative to include in the report of the Office of Internal Oversight Services qualitative assessments of the implementation of recommendations defined as critical, and invites the Secretary-General to entrust the Office with refining the criteria referred to in paragraph 8 of that report, taking into account the relevant provisions of resolutions 48/218 B and 54/244, and to report thereon in the context of the next annual report of the Secretary-General on the activities of the Office; further requests the Secretary-General to ensure that the recommendations of the Office of Internal Oversight Services, with regard to the new mission subsistence allowance referred to in paragraphs 88 and 89 of its report are fully and expeditiously implemented.
