Summary
Requests the 5 nuclear-weapon States to take measures towards the implementation of paragraph 1 of the present resolution; requests the Secretary-General to take steps towards the implementation of the 7 recommendations identified in the report of the Advisory Board that would significantly reduce the risk of nuclear war, including the proposal contained in the UN Millennium Declaration for convening an international conference to identify ways of eliminating nuclear dangers, and to report thereon to the General Assembly at its 57th session.
