Special Trust Fund for Activities in the Area of Science and Technology for Development

Recommends that a special trust fund for activities in the area of science and technology for development be established within the UN Conference on Trade and Development with a view to assisting in implementing various mandates received or to be received by the Conference in the area of science and technology for development; also recommends that the Trust Fund for Special Activities in Science and Technology for Development, established by the Secretary-General on 4 Apr. 1985 to disseminate science and technology information, be closed, and resources currently available be transferred to the newly created trust fund referred to in paragraph 1 above.
