Report of the Committee on Information on its resumed 23rd session, 5-7 September 2001 : addendum

At this session, the Committee considered the final report of the Secretary-General on the implementation of the pilot project on the development of an international radio broadcasting capacity for the UN. Following informal consultations in its open-ended Working Group, the Committee decided by consensus to amend draft resolution B: UN public information policies and activities, the full text of which is provided. Annexes include statements made at the resumed session by the Chairman of the Committee and by the Interim Head of the Department of Public Information. DAA
