In this regard the report examines the management and operations of the Department of Peacekeeping Operations; the need for enhanced interrelationships with other parts of the Secretariat; the security management system; and system-wide information, analysis and decision-making capacities. Includes several annexes among which are tables summarizing the status of implementation of key recommendations made by the Special Committee and commitments made by the Secretariat regarding the recommendations of the Panel on UN Peace Operations.
