Summary
Adopts the Protocol against the Illicit Manufacturing of and Trafficking in Firearms, Their Parts and Components and Ammunition, supplementing the UN Convention against Transnational Organized Crime, annexed to the present resolution, and opens it for signature at UN Headquarters in New York; urges all States and regional economic organizations to sign and ratify the UN Convention against Transnational Organized Crime and the protocols thereto as soon as possible in order to ensure the speedy entry into force of the Convention and the protocols thereto.
