Reports that the Red Crescent Society of the United Arab Emirates decided to donate $300,000 to the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in support of ICRC programmes in the territories occupied by Israel and in Afghanistan; also reports that the Red Crescent Society has forwarded $108,917 to the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies as a contribution towards overcoming the Federation's financial deficit.
