Summary
Calls upon all States to consider signing, ratifying or acceding to the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court; requests the Secretary-General to reconvene the Preparatory Commission from 26 Feb. to 9 Mar. and from 24 Sept. to 5 Oct. 2001 to continue to carry out the mandate of resolution F and, in that connection, to discuss ways to enhance the effectiveness and acceptance of the Court; also requests the Secretary-General to make available to the Preparatory Commission secretariat services to enable it to perform its functions; further requests the Secretary-General to invite, as observers to the Preparatory Commission, representatives of organizations and other entities that have received a standing invitation from the General Assembly to participate in the capacity of observers in its sessions and work; encourages States to make voluntary contributions to the trust funds established pursuant to General Assembly resolutions; requests the Secretary-General to report to the General Assembly at its 56th session on the implementation of the present resolution
