Summary
Affirms the urgency of consolidating Southeast Europe as a region of peace, security, stability, democracy, cooperation, economic development, observance of human rights and good-neighbourliness; calls upon all participants in the Stability Pact for South Eastern Europe, and all concerned international organizations, to support the efforts of Southeast European States to overcome the negative effects of the Kosovo crisis and to respect the principles of sovereign equality, territorial integrity and inviolability of international borders of any State; urges strengthening of the relations among the States of Southeast Europe on the basis of respect for international law and agreements; stresses the importance of regional efforts aimed at preventing conflicts that endanger peace and security; urges all States to take effective measures against illicit traffic of small arms, crime prevention, illicit trade of people, drug trafficking and money-laudering.
