Concerns the French translation of para. 7 of (S/PRST/2000/29), which reads : "It urges all concerned to ensure that former camp inhabitants are protected"; states that the French translation is misleading and inaccurate as it implies the camps still exist, while several Secretariat briefings as well as the briefing by the Facilitator, Nelson Mandela, have confirmed the total dismantling of the regroupment camps.
