Transmits joint statement by the Heads of State of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Slovenia and the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia issued following their meeting in New York, 8 Sept. 2000; concerns the question of succession to the former Socialist Republic of Yugoslavia; states that resolutions of the Security Council and the General Assembly of the UN confirm the legal equality of all the successors and that Yugoslavia must complete the usual procedure for admission to international organizations, as the rest of the successor States have done.
