Resúmen
Reports the release of a large amount of sulphuric acid into the Ibar River from a Trepca battery plant causing an ecological disaster; requests that the Security Council enable the authorities of Yugoslavia to carry out their duties in Kosovo and Metohija in accordance with Council resolution 1244 (1999) and urge the UN Interim Administration Mission in Kosovo to reinstate the Trepca management and employees.
