Transmits letter of 14 Aug. 2000 from the Minister for Foreign Affairs concerning the question of delimitation of the continetal shelf in the Arab Gulf; affirms its categorical rejection of any agreement that violates its legitimate rights over the Iraqi continental shelf and considers that the stability of the region can only be reached in the framework of compliance with international law and respect for its provisions, and through the cooperation of all States.
