Financing of the UN Observer Mission in Georgia (UNOMIG)

Decides to apportion the additional amount of US$290,200 already appropriated in respect of the period ending 30 June 1998 among Member States; decides also that, the apportionment among Member State shall take into consideration the decrease in their respective share in the Tax Equalization Fund of the estimated staff assessment income of $195,000 approved for the Observer Mission for the period ending 30 June 1998; decides further to appropriate the amount of $1,076,720 gross for the maintenance of the Observer Mission in respect of the period ending 30 June 1999, in addition to the amount of $19,439,280 gross already appropriated and inclusive of the amount of $1,076,720 gross from the amount of $1,534,400 gross authorized by the Advisory Committee; decides to apportion among Member States the additional amount of $1,076,720 gross for the maintenance of the Observer Mission in respect of the period ending 30 June 1999 decides also that, there shall be set off against the apportionment among Member States, their respective share in the Tax Equalization Fund of the estimated additional staff assessment income of $3,400 approved for the Observer Mission in respect of the period ending 30 June 1999; decides further to appropriate to the Special Account for the UNOMIG the amount of $30,048,197 gross for the maintenance of the Observer Mission for the period from 1 July 2000-30 June 2001, inclusive of the amount o $1,425,532 gross for the support account for peacekeeping operations and the amount of $222,865 gross for the UN Logistics Base at Brindisi; decides, to apportion among Member States the amount of $2,504,016 gross for the period from 1- 31 July 2000.
