Transmits press release issued on 27 Apr. 2000 by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ethiopia concerning the proximity talks for resolving the Ethio-Eritrean crisis, previously arranged for 25 Mar. 2000 by the current Chairman of OAU, but cancelled at the last minute; the talks are rescheduled to take place in Algiers on 29 Apr. 2000 and Ethiopia states that it has decided to take part in the talks.
