UN. Special Envoy for Digital and Emerging Technologies

On 1 Jan. 2025, the Office of the Secretary-General's Envoy on Technology transitioned to a new UN Office for Digital and Emerging Technologies (ODET), based on General Assembly resolution 79/258, following the adoption of the Global Digital Compact at the Summit of the Future in Sept. 2024.
