The purpose of this special 10th year catalogue is to provide a convenient and comprehensive guide to the Official Records and publications and periodicals of the United Nations which have been issued since the beginning of the Organization. The catalogue covers the period from 1945 to 1955 (from the 1945 San Francisco Conference to December 1954) and replaces all previous catalogues. The catalogue also includes information concerning the following: League of Nations publications; documents of the San Francisco Conference and the Preparatory Commission of the United Nations (San Francisco and London, 1945); mimeographed documents of the United Nations; visual material; special informational services in connection with radio and television. The publications of the specialized agencies are not included.
