Observer status for the International Union for the Conservation of Nature and Natural Resources in the General Assembly

Decides to invite the International Union for the Conservation of Nature and Natural Resources to participate in the sessions and work of the General Assembly in the capacity of observer; decides also that , in future, any request by an organization for the granting of observer status in the General Assembly will be considered in plenary session after consideration by the 6th Committee; requests the Secretary-General to take appropriate measures to bring to the attention of all the States Members of the General Committee and General Assembly the criteria and procedures for the granting of observer status in the General Assembly.
