Reaffirms the critical importance of, and the vital contribution that has been made by, effective verification measures in arms limitation and disarmament agreements and other similar obligations; requests the Secretary-General to report to the General Assembly at its 56th session on further views received from Member States pursuant to resolutions 50/61 and 52/31.
