At its 78th plenary meeting, on 11 June 2021, the General Assembly confirmed the appointment by the Secretary-General of Rebeca Grynspan of Costa Rica as Secretary-General of the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development for a 4-year term of office. Subsequently, the Secretary-General informed the General Assembly that the term of office of Ms. Grynspan would be from 12 Sept. 2021 to 11 Sept. 2025. (A/75/909/Add.1)
