The study deals with organizational and technical considerations necessary in the design and implementation of data processing procedures or house household surveys, based on trends in data processing technology in the early 1980s. The manual attempts to identify the considerations involved in the choice of appropriate strategies so as to ensure timely processing of survey data and to enhance national capability in the area of data processing.
