At its 30th plenary meeting, on 23 November 2020, the General Assembly, on the proposal of the Secretary-General (A/75/338), re-elected Mr. Filippo Grandi as United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees for a period of two and half years, beginning on 1 January 2021 and ending on 30 June 2023.
