摘要
Transmits the 2nd report of the Special Representative of the Secretary-General for Children and Armed Conflict which covers the activities undertaken since the previous report (A/53/482) of 12 Oct. 1998. Provides a detailed summary of the actions and initiatives taken to protect children affected by conflict. Includes recommendations which are intended to serve as a basis for ongoing dialogue with Governments, partners within the UN System, non-governmental organizations and other civil society actors.
