Резюме
Decides to terminate, as of 31 Dec. 1998, the current membership of the Commission on Science and Technology for Development, the Committee for Development Planning, the Committee on Natural Resources and the Committee on New and Renewable Sources of Energy and on Energy for Development; also decides to hold new elections for the 33 members of the Commission on Science and Technology for Development, in accordance with the pattern for regional distribution agreed upon and set forth in paragraph 6 of annex I to Council resolution 1998/46; further decides that the terms of office of all the members of the Committee for Development Policy will be concurrent; decides that the election of members of the Committee on Energy and Natural Resources for Development will be held every 4 years and the terms of office of all the members of the Committee will be concurrent.
