Financing of the UN Mission for the Referendum in Western Sahara

Decides to appropriate to the Special Account for the UN Mission for the Referendum in Western Sahara the amount of US$17,172,300 gross for the period from 1 July 1997-30 June 1998, inclusive of the amount of $9,300,500 gross already authorized for the period from 1 Nov. 1997-31 Mar. 1998 and in addition to the amount of $30,229,800 gross already appropriated for the period from 1 July 1997-30 June 1998; decides also to apportion the additional amount of $11,077,300 gross for the period ending 20 Apr. 1998 among Member States, taking into account the amount of $24,351,780 gross already assessed for the same period; decides further that there shall be set off against the apportionment among Member States their respective share in the Tax Equalization Fund of the additional estimated staff assessment income of $767,800 approved for the period ending 20 Apr. 1998, taking into account the amount of $1,449,510 already approved for the same period; decides to apportion the amount of $6,095,00 gross for the period from 21 Apr.-30 June 1998 among Member States; decides also that there shall be set off against the apportionment among Member States their respective share in the Tax Equalization Fund of the estimated staff assessment income of $415,200 approved for the period from 21 Apr.-30 June 1998.
