Summary
Decides that the 25th anniversary of ESCWA should be celebrated during its 20th session, to be held in 1999; requests the Executive Secretary of the Commission to take all measures that he deems necessary in this regard, including the preparation of the necessary studies for the celebration of the 25th anniversary of the Commission; invites the Governments of the States members of the Commission to take this opportunity to formulate a new vision and define the role and tasks of the Commission in line with regional and world developments in the coming century.
