Summary
Expresses its appreciation for the plans prepared and the measures adopted by the secretariat of ESCWA, including the plan for the Commission's relocation to its permanent headquarters at Beirut in accordance with a timetable that will not interfere with the implementation of the programmes of the Commission and will take into consideration the needs of its staff; requests the authorities concerned within UN secretariat to examine the possibility of utilizing the skills of the local staff of the Commission in Amman in other areas within UN or of finding ways to compensate them.
