Financing of the United Nations Protection Force : resolution / adopted by the General Assembly.

Decides to appropriate to the Special Account referred to in General Assembly resolution 46/223 an amount of US$10,000,000 authorized with the concurrence of the Advisory Committee under the terms of General Assembly resolution 46/187 of 20 Dec. 1991, for the period from 12 Jan. to 14 Oct. 1992; decides also to appropriate to the Special Account an amount of $290,049,500 gross ($288,313,900 net), inclusive of the amount of $10,000,000 authorized with the prior concurrence of the Advisory Committee, for the operation of UNPROFOR for the period from 15 Oct. 1992 to 20 Feb. 1993, inclusive; decides, as an ad hoc arrangement, to apportion the amount of $10,000,000 for the period from 12 Jan. to 14 Dec. 1992 and the amount of $290,049,500 gross ($288,313,900 net) for the period from 15 Oct. 1992 to 20 Feb. 1993 among Member States in accordance with the composition of groups set out in paragraphs 3 and 4 of General Assembly resolution 43/232; authorizes the Secretary-General to enter into commitments for the operation of UNPROFOR at a rate not to exceed $47,064,525 gross ($46,492,334 net) per month for the period from 21 Feb. to 20 Sept. 1993, should the Security Council decide to continue the mission beyond 20 Feb. 1993; decides to consider the contributions of Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Georgia, Kazakstan, Kyrgyzstan, the Republic of Moldova, San Marino, Slovenia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan to UNPROFOR in accordance with the rates of assessment to be adopted by the General Assembly for these Member States at its 47th session.
