Questions relating to the programme budget for the biennium 1996-1997 : resolution / adopted by the General Assembly.

Takes note of the estimates of US$501,000 under section 13 (Crime control) and $595,200 under section 14 (International drug control) on the understanding that such additional appropriations as may be necessary will be determined in accordance with the procedures for the use and operation of the contingency fund; approves the subvention of $213,000 for UNIDIR for 1997; decides to make a provision of $2,750,500 for the International Seabed Authority for its administrative expenses in 1997; approves a net decrease of $5,580,200 in the appropriations approved for the biennium 1996-1997 and a net decrease of $19,682,000 in the estimates of income for the biennium 1996-1997; notes that a balance of $15,358,200 remains in the contingency fund.
