摘要
Statement made on behalf of the Security Council, at the 3772nd meeting, 25 Apr. 1997, in connection with prior consultations held among Council members on the item entitled "The situation in Croatia" - UN Transitional Administration for Eastern Slavonia, Baranja and Western Sirmium (UNTAES) ; expresses disappointment at the general lack of improvement in the situation in Prevlaka; calls upon the parties to refrain from provocative actions of all kinds, to cease violations of the demilitarized zone and to cooperate fully with UN military observers; calls upon Croatia and Yugoslavia to resolve the disputed issue of Prevlaka through bilateral negotiations pursuant to their agreement of 23 Aug. 1997; and calls upon the parties to cooperate fully with the UNTAES and to stop their interference with their freedom of movement and with the implementation of their mandate / President, Security Council.
